Privacy / ownership
Camera for pins.
Snap Pins is an independent collector app for enamel and collector pins. Photos exist to identify and catalog pins. Account features stay behind sign-in.
Camera and photos
The camera is for photographing pins — face, backstamp, and card when you have them — for identification and your personal collection. When you Snap, Check, or scan a barcode, a resized photo or product lookup may be sent to our identification provider (OpenRouter) and optional market APIs so the app can suggest a pin name and comps. Photos are not sold. You can still add pins manually without using Snap.
Sign-in and backup
iOS uses Sign in with Apple. Android uses Google. Cloud backup and restore of your collection require you to be signed in. You can scan and organize locally without an account. Android also supports local export / import.
Trades and contact
Trade contact details — username, optional Facebook helpers, friend usernames — are information you choose to provide so other traders can reach you. Trades are peer-to-peer. Snap Pins does not insure them, hold funds, or ship pins.
What this is not

What we collect on this site
This marketing site is static. The beta form sends App name, phone OS, and email to admin@snapcollectibles.com so we can issue a tester invite. No analytics SDK is bundled.
Android testers are shown the Google Play internal-test URL on-screen after submit. Google does not auto-send emails to testers. That URL becomes active once the email is added to the tester list — please allow up to a few hours.
