What Snap Pins does — and what it doesn’t claim.

Do I need Sign in with Apple? +

Sign in with Apple unlocks account features. Cloud backup and restore of your collection require you to be signed in. Local collecting works without an account; backup needs sign-in.

Why pick a category when I scan? +

Categories (Disney, FiGPiN, Loungefly, Olympic, Soft/Hard Enamel, Mystery/Blind, Limited/Exclusive, Fantasy/Gaming, Sports, Other) help focus identification. Choosing the right group often improves useful results — use Other when you’re not sure.

Is this official Disney or FiGPiN authentication? +

No. Snap Pins offers AI-assisted identification for personal collecting and trading research. It is not official brand authentication, appraisal, or a guarantee of authenticity or value.

How do trades work? +

Trades are peer-to-peer between users. You can post offers, pick a pin from inventory, browse the trade feed, open trade detail, and chat in-app. Set up contact info (username and optional Facebook helpers). Snap Pins does not insure or guarantee trades.

Does cloud backup need sign-in? +

Yes. Backup and restore of your collection while signed in is available in the app. Stay signed in with Apple to use cloud backup.

What is the camera used for? +

The camera is for photographing pins — for identification and your collection. Photos support ID and cataloging, not unrelated uses.

How do I join the iOS beta? +

Snap Pins for iOS is in beta. Email admin@snapcollectibles.com for beta access or support. There is no full public App Store launch claimed on this site until a live link is provided.

Is Android available? +

Android is coming soon. Reach out at admin@snapcollectibles.com if you want to be notified when Android testing opens.

Privacy-minded by default

Camera and photos are used for pin identification and your personal collection. Trade contact details (such as username or optional Facebook helpers) are information you choose to provide so other traders can reach you. Sign in with Apple when you want account features like cloud backup.
